What is Ultra Low Dose (ULV) Fogging? How does it work?
Ultra Low Dose (ULV) Fogging allows for bulk disinfection & santisation of large areas quickly & efficiently. The specialist machinery & equipment for ULV fogging, uses a pressurised air feed to fuse this air with a safe disinfectant chemical. This fusion creates a very fine fog of super fine particles. This disinfecting fog gets into all areas of the room or interior. It lands on both hard and soft surfaces and leaves a thin coated film of disinfectant on all surfaces. If using the high specification electrostatic fogging lance - the fused water & disinfectant particles are negatively charged when passing by the electrode. This makes them cling even onto the reverse side of objects - helping to effectively kill bacteria & viruses.
Is ULV Fogging the same as Fumigation?
Some get this confused with fumigation. ULV fogging is not the same as fumigation. Fumigation is when you fumigate a room by releasing a chemical fog to kill off bugs & insects, like beetles, bed bugs, fleas, etc. Fumigation is used in pest control.
